Monitor Air Quality with the NearSky Platform

Tuesday, March 12, 2019  -- 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EST

Air pollution contributes to the death of 4.2 million people annually. Monitoring air quality allows municipalities to take preventive steps and/or communicate health hazards accurately to citizens.  The NearSky smart city platform allows municipalities to cost-effectively deploy air quality monitoring sensors anywhere they are needed, allowing municipalities to improve awareness of issues and design appropriate improvements. In this presentation you will learn:

  • The advantages of using NearSky for air quality monitoring over traditional monitoring options
  • How you can collect and use air quality data to improve the environment for your city residents
