Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager is a critical player in the global marketing team at CIMCON.  He/she will be an evangelist and key strategist for our smart city platform.  This is a breakthrough product with few, if any, peers and the Product Marketing Manager will determine how we communicate the value of our smart city platform to all of our target audiences, including prospects, partners, industry analysts, and internal teams.  His/her efforts will have a significant impact on the success of our demand generation programs, the effectiveness of our sales efforts, and the trajectory of the company's continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Product and Launch Strategy – Work with our Product Management team to plan, build, and launch new products. You will identify market problems and opportunities by researching markets, analyzing wins/losses, developing buyer personas, documenting the buying process, developing launch strategies, and creating tools to enable other CIMCON departments to increase demand for and use of our products.
  • Buyer Journey Development – Develop and maintain detailed buyer personas and content that helps sales teams manage their sales engagements.
  • Positioning/Message development - refine our core messaging and go to market strategy for CIMCON’s smart city platform and related solutions.
  • Sales Support - You will assist and participate actively in the sales process to ensure that our message and content evolves with the needs of the prospect audience. 
  • Content Creation - You will be one of the primary content developers for the company and will be responsible for crafting concise, compelling long and short form content, including pitch presentations, solution briefs, email marketing, web content, landing pages, case studies, white papers, videos, competitive battle cards, demonstrations, social media posts, and more to support global marketing and sales initiatives
  • Reference Development – You will be instrumental in building relationships with our customers and creating content that highlights their successes in case studies, videos, and press releases.
  • Lead Generation Strategy - Work with our demand generation team to develop messaging, calls to action, and assets that will help us meet our lead and opportunity generation goals.
  • Industry and Competitive Analysis - You should be an expert in the dynamics of the industry and will use that expertise to create compelling content, such as competitive battle cards, and to educate our go to market teams to assist their own sales and marketing efforts.
  • Reporting/Analytics – Develop and maintain the product usage reporting and analytics. Include reports that show usage and revenue by connector and by product.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years product marketing, product management, or content generation role for a technology company. Experience at a technology company with a ground-breaking, disruptive business model, such as Airbnb or Uber, is highly preferred.
  • You must have a solid track record of creating clear and compelling messages and content to push buyers forward and to assist sales teams.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience with IoT products is a plus.

Job Description

CIMCON is looking for a talented, energetic digital marketer to join our global marketing team and manage our online properties and our social media presence.  In this role, you will help us grow the company by attracting and engaging new prospects and enabling the company’s current customers and partners to find new uses for CIMCON’s products. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s website and continuously improve its performance. Identify and implement content, graphical, and structural changes that will improve search engine optimization (SEO) results, ease of use, and conversion rates. 
  • Manage and continuously improve the performance of the company’s other web properties including the partner sites, blogs, and support sites.
  • Manage the company’s social media properties including LinkedIn profiles, LinkedIn groups, twitter, Facebook, and others. Keep the content up to date and continuously improve the performance of those sites so the number of participants and the level of interaction increases.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all web and social media properties.
  • Manage the company's marketing automation and content management systems. In particular, develop landing pages that capture the attention of our prospects and have high conversion rates.
  • Set the creative direction for the company and create graphical designs for advertisements, collateral, web page content, document templates, newsletters, and other assets used in lead generation campaigns.
  • Work with our content generation teams to produce videos used in our demand generation and customer/partner enablement initiatives.
  • Set our social media strategy and with our content generation teams to create social media content, such as blog entries and twitter posts. Develop and manage the company’s monthly blog and weekly twitter calendars.
  • Measure and report on the use of the company’s web and social media properties using tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, and HubSpot. Assist in the production of demand generation reports. 
  • Maintain and improve the company's marketing database.

Qualifications and Characteristics

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required
  • 1+ years of experience in web design or digital marketing
  • Ability to proficiently use a wide array of web technologies, content management systems, and tools, such as Drupal, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, Google Analytics, social media platforms
  • Ability to proficiently use design tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver.
  • Experience with marketing automation systems, such as Marketo and HubSpot is a plus.
  • Experience with video editing software, such as Camtasia is a plus.
  • A proven record of accomplishments
