Job Description

We are looking to hire a passionate customer support engineer who can support our partners and customers with their implementation of our wireless lighting control products. Target customers include utilities, commercial and industrial customers, ESCOS, LED/Solar lighting companies, malls, parking lots and garages, campuses, car dealerships, and any industries or solutions that are lighting intensive.

Job Description

Position Summary:

 You will be a leader on the team responsible for telling the world the story of our product. You will be expected to be a primary advocate for the complete product feature set and its benefits. You will have a direct impact on driving our customer growth every day. You will be our internal expert on the competitive landscape and partner ecosystem to help optimize our sales process and collateral. In short, you will give our sales team a competitive edge.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Together with the product team, educate both internal and external stakeholders on our product features and their benefits.
  • Create technical content (e.g. whitepapers, product videos, website copy, blog posts) to articulate the benefits of our products to the world.
  • Assist sales on calls when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product.
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product.
  • Deliver training and sales tools to our reps and partners to help them be more efficient and effective.
  • Perform competitive research and help position us to win more customers.
  • Collect and analyze data that supports our solutions in the market to buyers. 

Requirements:

  • B.A./B.S. degfree or equivalent working experience
  • Past experience in a product marketing, evangelist, SE or Support role

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills -- there is a heavy amount of writing, presenting, and selling ideas in this role.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate across different teams
  • Passionate about technology in the context of customer value
  • High energy, enthusiastic professional driven by goals and continuous learning
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts easily to change
