Job Description

Position Summary:

 You will be a leader on the team responsible for telling the world the story of our product. You will be expected to be a primary advocate for the complete product feature set and its benefits. You will have a direct impact on driving our customer growth every day. You will be our internal expert on the competitive landscape and partner ecosystem to help optimize our sales process and collateral. In short, you will give our sales team a competitive edge.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Together with the product team, educate both internal and external stakeholders on our product features and their benefits.
  • Create technical content (e.g. whitepapers, product videos, website copy, blog posts) to articulate the benefits of our products to the world.
  • Assist sales on calls when appropriate to provide deeper dives into the product.
  • Speak and present both internally and externally to promote the story of our product.
  • Deliver training and sales tools to our reps and partners to help them be more efficient and effective.
  • Perform competitive research and help position us to win more customers.
  • Collect and analyze data that supports our solutions in the market to buyers. 


  • B.A./B.S. degfree or equivalent working experience
  • Past experience in a product marketing, evangelist, SE or Support role


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills -- there is a heavy amount of writing, presenting, and selling ideas in this role.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate across different teams

CIMCON is currently seeking a Marketing Intern to assist with the daily operations of the Marketing and Communications team. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter interested in marketing. The Marketing Intern will be an active participant in a very busy team within a fast paced, green startup. He or she will gain hands on experience to help launch their marketing career.

  • Assist members of the marketing team conceive, plan, and execute marketing programs across the entire spectrum of communication channels, including email programs, events/meetings, online advertising, social media communication, and website marketing.
  • Projects will vary, but will likely include:
    • Content creation, such as social media posts, videos, blogs, and other written materials
    • Customer database building
    • Lead cleansing and processing
    • Market and customer research to support the creation of marketing strategies


  • Pursuing a degree in Marketing or Business
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented; strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities; ability to work independently as well as on a team
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication (verbal and written), and relationship building skills.
  • Advanced skills with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience using social media for marketing, especially Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
