"Wireless Gateway" serves as a gateway for a group of wireless controllers to communicate with the central server using a backhaul communication network such as GPRS. Each Gateway consists of a radio module for wireless mesh network configuration, commissioning and maintenance. The inputs and outputs of the wireless mesh devices are mapped using open protocols to allow for easy integration with other systems.
Robust and Reliable : Can communicate with a large number of devices spread across significant distances with full reliability, using self-forming and self-healing mesh networking.
Wireless Technology : The Gateway utilizes the latest developments in wireless technology to configure and collect data from wireless devices (SLC) and transmit it to a central server.
Local Intelligence : The Gateway uses an extremely powerful 32 bit microcontroller that allows for the building of complex logic and intelligence for faster response times and better performance.
Simple and Easy Remote Configuration : The Gateway can be easily and remotely configured from an easy-to-use web interface. Configurations include input and output mapping and network topology.
Several Connectivity Options : The Gateway offers several wired and wireless options to connect it back to the LightingGale Management System; these include standard TCP/IP, Serial Interface and GPRS support.
Network Fault Tolerance : Multiple Gateways can be configured in fault tolerant mode to provide the highest levels of network availability.
Multiple Protocol Support : The Gateway provides support for several industry standard protocols that allow for easy integration with other systems and networks.
Large Local Data Storage : The Gateway can store large amounts of data in the event of communication link failure. This data can be transferred to the LightingGale Management System once the link is available. This ensures that the data is never lost.
Simple Installation : The Gateway is available in several enclosure options that allow for easy installation in any situation.
